NRNA Australia has announced details of its third and final repatriation flight to Nepal from Australia. The flight will depart from Sydney on 6th August, 2020, and will be a semi-chartered flight via Singapore Airlines.

“We are in course of repatriating third and FINAL lot of stranded passengers (in Australia) on the 6th of August, 2020”, NRNA Australia said via Facebook.

NRNA Australia also said Everest Travels and DaVinci Travels will be partnering this project with the Australia Nepal Repatriation Taskforce.

Passengers from Melbourne, Hobart and Gold Coast are requested to connect with the above travel partners who will arrange interconnecting flights for an additional cost of AUD 150. Travellers from other cities are requested to arrange their own transfers to Sydney prior to departure.

NRNA Australia has also said they are working on finalising a passenger list and other flight prerequisites. They have also requested citizens/residents to ensure necessary visa and approvals to leave/enter respective countries.

This will be the fifth repatriation flight from Australia to Nepal. Earlier, two repatriation flights via Nepal Airlines, and one semi-chartered flight via Singapore Airlines has repatriated hundreds of Nepalis stranded in Australia home.

On 30th July (today), a Malindo Airlines repatriated 160 Nepalis home from Sydney. The flight is en route and scheduled to land in Kathmandu on 31st July via transits in Bali and Kuala Lumpur.

The 6th August flight from Sydney will be the final flight for Nepalis stranded in Australia.

Besides NRNA Australia, the flights were made possible with the active assistance of Nepal Government, Nepalese Embassy in Australia, Consular Offices of respective cities in Australia, FeNCAA, ANMDA, ANJA, and members of the broader community.
